The Tea Artisans

Products

What makes you different from other tea companies?

We believe that the work of the tea artisans that still adhere to time-honoured techniques from the initial handpicking of the leaves to their processing is what makes our teas exceptional.

Our teas and herbs are selected for their terroir, high grades, raw and natural flavours, and freshness.

Are your teas organic?

All of our teas are naturally organic, with no hint of pesticides or fertilisers. Still, we have decided to add a European organic certification to almost all our teas and herbal infusions.

The organic logo of the European union on each tea’s individual webpage guarantees the certification.

Do you sell decaf alternatives?

We have a collection of organic and caffeine-free herbal blends. You can shop our infusions on this page.

How long will a tea caddy last?

The number of cups of tea will vary slightly by tea, depending on how strong you like your tea and how much tea is required per cup. Generally speaking, 125g of tea will make approximately 50 cups.

Where do you source tea?

We source our teas from the finest artisans around the world; from the top tea-producing nations of China, India, Japan as well as South Africa. Our organic herbs come from all parts of Europe.

Where are your teas blended?

All our compositions are blended by hand in small batches in our atelier in the North of France.

How long does your tea stay fresh?

Apart from our Pu-erh teacakes that improve over time (see tea cake section), regular tea tends to become tasteless after two years of storage. We generally recommend drinking our organic teas and infusions within one year of purchase.

What kind of packaging does your tea come in?

Each tea's individual web page covers the types of packaging available; they usually come in a personalised tea caddies or as traditional teacakes. For wholesale packaging inquiries, please visit our wholesale section.
